Tennyson Eye Centre was established in 2009 by its founder Dr David Handley with the intention of providing a modern purpose-built facility for ophthalmology consultation, treatment & surgery within the same centre. With the most up-to-date technology we are able to thoroughly assess eye health, detect early eye disease and treat conditions as required.

In 2022, Tennyson Eye Centre partnered with Vision Eye Institute, Australia’s largest provider of specialist ophthalmic care. Joining Vision Eye Institute has allowed us to become part of a wider network of ophthalmologists dedicated to clinical and scientific excellence and delivering best-practice patient care.

As a general ophthalmology clinic, we offer an extensive range of care with a special interest in cataracts, pterygiums, lid/lacrimal surgery, glaucoma, macular degeneration, macular disease and diabetic eye disease.
